Southwest Airlines plans to stay on top in customer service by proposing Service for Smiles and Profits.

Future Plans

 

Southwest Airlines based on the success of integrating its Rapid Rewards program with reservations. Southwest plans to move its Web site, Southwest.com, to Oracle9i RAC.

The Oracle9i Real Application Clusters (Oracle9i RAC) implementation took two months, from start to finish. Now, Southwest Rapid Rewards customers have the convenience of placing their reservations with just one card swipe. And by means of this new site Southwest will increase it's productivity for the teams that rely on reservation data.
